Thoreau College would like to extend a warm invitation to come and help celebrate the successful conclusion of the second Thoreau College Semester Program, on Friday, December 18, from 4-6 pm. This will take place in the form of an outdoor “Saunter Through the Semester” – a walking tour of some of Thoreau College key sites in Viroqua. Begin outside of the Commons at 401 E. Jefferson St., where there will be treats, music, and a brief overview of activities, then continue to one of the student residences at 315 S. East Ave., and end at Thoreau’s Garden, a new college enterprise, located in the Growing for Good greenhouses and retail space at 520 E. Terhune St.
2020 has been a time of incredible growth and development for Thoreau College, even as they faced the disruptions and challenges of this year. For a summary of some of their achievements this year, come to the Saunter and if you want to know more, ask to see/receive the latest newsletter and annual report.
