WHAT: The Circle Way – a Permaculture of the Heart
A talk by Manitonquat (Medicine Story) and Ellika Linden

WHEN: Saturday, April 16

TIME: 7:00pm

Manitonquat (Medicine Story) is a Wampanoag elder, philosopher, storyteller, poet and lecturer, and a keeper of the lore of the Assonet Band of the Wampanoag Nation of Massachusetts. He develops tools for creating a more humane society based on teachings of the elders of the First Nations and the explorations of his camps. The Circle Way derives from the traditional wisdom of native elders throughout North America and their instructions to Manitonquat to make their knowledge known to the world. It is about connection. It is about relationship—to ourselves, our families, our work, our goals and dreams, to the Earth and all life, and to the cosmic drama of which we are all a part.
