“The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” is a well-loved classic! Don’t Panic because a group of intrepid and talented actors, musicians and techies will bring the radio show to life before your very eyes! We will be LIVESTREAMING these performances as well, so it can be viewed anywhere in the galaxy~
Drawing together a local cast, musicians, and live sound-effects, these first six episodes of Douglas Adams’ comedic space saga introduce earthlings Arthur Dent and Trisha McMillian and their alien companions Ford Prefect and Zaphod Beeblebrox. After escaping the all-too-casual destruction of planet Earth, they embark upon a mind-bending journey to find the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything which goes with the Ultimate Answer provided by the computer Deep Thought.
Before the movie, before the books, before the television show, came the 1978 radio plays, and this performance recreates that original experience with local flavor. Seating is limited to 93. Bring your towel, stay hoopy, and hitch a ride to this event because it’s infinitely improbable it will ever happen again!
