Viroqua Harvest Parade
The 2020 Harvest Parade has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.
Our Story….
Picture this:
Giant puppets marching down Main Street, stilt walkers, unicyclists, music and food in the park, jugglers and clowns, fire dancing at dusk, mimes. . . okay, maybe not mimes, but we hope you’ll join us each fall to celebrate the harvest here in Viroqua.
The Viroqua Harvest Parade takes place each year on the second Saturday in October at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome to be in the parade!
Parade participation guidelines are:
*Harvest themed (more or less)
*People-powered (ie. no cars/trailer floats)
*Handmade (recycled materials encouraged)
*No politics or logos.
(It’s all about community and art without the promotion of any particular groups/messaging.)
Since 2009 community members have come together in
Viroqua to celebrate the harvest with a human powered parade!
