Our Mission & Values

The Commons Community and Arts Center is a vibrant and diverse facility which serves all Driftless residents, artists and performers, teachers and  students, parents and children, activists, appreciators and supporters regardless of economic status or need. The Commons is dedicated to a populist vision of educating, inspiring, and entertaining everyone.

Artists and Friends, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, was founded in May of 2012 by a small group of creative and dedicated locals who wanted to see the historic building at 401 E. Jefferson thrive as a facility in service to community.

We value the common goals of our regional population, including stimulating artistic expression in many forms, serving the educational needs of young and old, and being a comfortable place for people to gather.
